A rustic retreat in Trancoso

What's your favorite color?

Quadradim is not a resort, it's our family's private retreat.

It's one home divided into three tiny houses - one for mom and one for each of her two adult children and their respective families. It was built so we can spend time together in beautiful Bahia.

We wanted to pay tribute to the houses that dot Trancoso's quadrado and their colourful facades. Inside, each of the tiny houses reflects the very different tastes of its occupants - a chef, a filmmaker and a doctor. They are no-frills accommodations, incorporating the rustic charm of our surroundings with just a hint of our Minas Gerais roots.

All three houses have a similar layout with everything you need for your stay, including a fully-equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms and room for up to 4 guests. A shared barbecue area and garden can be enjoyed by all.

We are happy to share our little piece of paradise with you and hope you'll enjoy your stay. Rent the whole place for your family vacation or rent just one tiny house and get to know your next door neighbor.

The Orange House

Slightly larger than the other two, this house can accommodate up to 4 adults.

This is Dr. Tania's house and it stands in the middle, in between the other two.

Downstairs, you'll find two twin-sized beds that also serve as a sofa, a fully-equipped kitchen, a six-person dining table and full bathroom.

Upstairs, you'll find a queen-sized bed, another full bathroom, and a little veranda to watch her grandchildren play in the yard while drinking her morning coffee.

Decorated in soothing blues and natural tones to provide a relaxing haven for a busy pediatrician.

If you're looking for a slightly larger space, this one is for you. Can accommodate two couples or a couple with two older children.

The Blue House

The modern one. Can you spot what the owner is into?

This house belongs to Tales, Dr. Tania's youngest child.

A chef and generally handy guy, Tales designed and built the modern table at the center of the home's design. He also likes to hide some of his hobbies into the decor. Can you spot it?

This is a mirror image of the yellow house, with a single bed that also serves as a sofa, a full bathroom and a table for 4 downstairs and a queen bed, single bed and full bathroom upstairs.

Like its twin, this one is perfect for 3 adults or two adults with two children - a younger one upstairs and an older child downstairs.
